The purpose of this website and initiation was to make us feel seen and heard. Yet, the right words tend to escape us when addressing India’s LGBTQIA+ community. Words of Pride is an attempt to bridge this gap in discourse with the right vocabulary. It is a lexicon of words that aims to make every individual in our society feel welcomed, included, appreciated, and, most importantly, respected.
